Over Mother’s Day weekend, the Cheetos Museum was hosted at the Ontario Science Centre. We created various interactive activities to engage and excite families with children. The Cheetos Museum was a space where parents and kids could enjoy playtime and have fun together.
A Cheetos search station was set up for “shape searching”, where consumers could try to find a potentially winning Cheetos shape. Traditional museum pedestals were custom built to display curated Cheetos Crunchy shapes to inspire creativity. Cheetos Mini Cam was designed to emulate a miniature museum for consumers to snap a photo of their unique shape and share on their own social network. Swings were custom built to create a moment for parents and children to enjoy together. A lifesize Chester the Cheetah was built entirely out of Cheetos for a photo opportunity along with a printed picture.
The engagements were positive and photo-worthy which drove social sharing and contest entries.
